CHEMICALS INDUSTRY

EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract for pouring deep concrete foundations, fabrication or procurement of SNOX equipment, transportation and logistics, and installation of SNOX System, including pneumatic conveying systems, ventilation systems, flue gas stack, and storage silos. A SNOX system is designed for flue gas desulfurization, which is the process of removing sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter from process flue gasses in order to meet state and/or federal air quality control standards.

STEEL INDUSTRY

Greenfield construction of two projects: The Alloy Additive Systems including HBI, Carbon and Lime for their two EAF’s, each with two (2) twin Ladle Furnaces and two independent Reverse Air Baghouse Systems, each with a capacity of 1,650,000 acfm per system, for two direct-current electric arc furnaces (DC-EAF) having a capacity of 210 short tons (190 tons) each and two twin ladle furnaces (LF).

BIOFUELS INDUSTRY

Turnkey construction and installation of new process equipment, and supply of structural steel components for upgrades at an Ethanol processing plant.  Adelphi was awarded the project because of our specialty construction skills and past experience with similar projects, our long term excellent safety record, and our proven ability to complete fast track projects within tight deadlines.  

FRAC SAND INDUSTRY

Greenfield build of frac sand dry plant including four silos with automated truck loads outs, shaker towers, three IAC patented Dual Feed Rotary Frac Sand Dryers, mechanical conveying systems, baghouses and dust control systems, and containerized automated control systems with all electrical installation work.

CEMENT INDUSTRY

Multiple projects including construction of a transload facility comprised of four silos with batch scale system and automated truck loads outs; and an Off-spec Clinker Transload system.

  • Convert existing Norblo 432 bag shaker style baghouse to IAC pleated element style pulse-jet collector
    (180 elements)
  • Project executed over 7 day production turnaround and started up as scheduled
  • Performed additional work as requested by the customer without additional time

Bulk Storage and Load Out Terminal

CARIBBEAN

  • Installation of two bolted silos with 8,000 tons of finished product storage
  • Installation of pneumatic unload transfer systems complete with dust collectors, ship to terminal
  • Truck drive-through in each silo for silo to truck unloading
  • Installation of load-out system and control automation
  • Startup and commissioning Lime FGD (Flue Gas Desulphurization)

  • Erected welded silos for bulk lime additive for use in FGD system
  • Installation of computerized, negative weigh product metering system from silo

  • Filter conversion to pulse-jet cleaning
  • Project located on 4th level of plant
  • Project executed during 14 day shutdown
